SecretariateA. Tasks:
Assists the execution of NC-CDM’s tasks, among others:
- Facilitates the evaluation process of the submitted project proposals
- Assist the NC-CDM in facilitating Technical Team evaluate project proposals, particularly in the implementation of sustainable development criteria and indicators, compliance to environmental regulations and taking stakeholders’ comment into account.
- Assists the NC-CDM in organising Stakeholder Forum Special Meeting for proposed projects that have not held public consultation or need additional consultation with their Stakeholders.
- Assists the NC-CDM if there were appeals
- Manages office administration of the National Commission
- Stores any documentation on project activities
- Prepares tracking document and annual report
- Organise NC-CDM meetings
- Conducts other administrative functions
- Accommodates public suggestions on prospective stakeholders to be invited in Stakeholder Forum Special Meeting according to the characteristic of project proposal under evaluation
- Actively identifies stakeholders of the proposed projects to be discussed in the Stakeholder Forum Meeting
- Makes a list of representatives from relevant institutions available to fill the position of non-permanent members of Technical Team.
- Makes a list of Experts (roster) complete with their expertise and will update the list with the newest information on the availability of experts
B. Personnel:
- DNA Secretariat is led by an Executive Secretary whom appointed and dismissed by the Board
- Executive Secretary is responsible for management of DNA Secretariat and the execution of DNA’s tasks
- Executive Secretariay is assisted by two staffs:
- Finance and General Administration Staff (corespondence)
- Communication, Publication and General Assistant (Logistic)
